Francesca Marotta

Broadcasting

Francesca’s broadcasting work is an extension of her career as a journalist: it is centred on research, interviews, recorded conversations and editorial storytelling rather than television presenting.

Her interviews move across culture, politics, Indigenous rights, fashion, music, enterprise and public life, creating space for both internationally recognised figures and voices whose stories deserve wider attention.

Her interview subjects have included Prince Koussou Alam-Sogan, Prince of Dahomey; United States Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland; Patricia Manfield, also known as Heir; Renato Balestra; The Bloom Twins; Wen Jun Lau; Ninette Murk; Oscar Wang; and NinaRunsdorf. Across her broadcasting career, the personalities she has interviewed have ranged from musical artists and fashion icons toentrepreneurs, royals and members of the British Royal Family.
