Francesca Marotta
Francesca’s fashion-editing career brings together editorial judgement, international styling, art direction and a deep technical knowledge of design and construction. She has worked as a Fashion Editor, Editor-at-Large and Editor-in-Chief for publications based in London and internationally. Her editorial approach combines strong storytelling with an exact understanding of clothes, textiles, image-making and the practical realities of production, allowing her to shape a complete visual identity rather than simply style a single image.
Her celebrity and public-figure portfolio includes The Scissor Sisters, Stuart Zender, Charlotte Hope, Andreja Pejić, Sophie Anderton, Ye Mingzi, Amy Lennox, Camilla Kerslake, Meeta Raval, Sir Steve Redgrave, Gianluca Vialli and the Great Britain National Rugby League Team, among many others. Warwick Guitars, Agresti Luxury Safe Boxes, Malmaison Hotels, Hotel du Vin, Toni & Guy, Trevor Sorbie and Vidal Sassoon are among the companies that have trusted her vision.
Her name is also associated with Ki Price, Nicolas Velter, Casey Moore, Squiz Hamilton, Arron Dunworth, Oggy Yordanov, Woland, Andrew Farrar, Paulina Surys, Alexander Beer, Nuno Veloso and Julius Zulkarnaen. As a Creative Director and Visual Merchandiser, a major career highlight was taking charge of CMG Global’s “Cultural Invasion” pop-up stores in California. She currently works on a freelance basis across styling, art direction, brand and creative consultancy, casting and related editorial commissions.
